Leah is a main character on ABC's sci-fi series The Crossing.
Information[]
When Leah was an infant, she was found by Reece, an Apex soldier. Instead of killing her, Reece decided to adopt Leah. Leah contracted Mantle's disease, a highly contagious and deadly virus from the future which is treated using Reece's bone marrow.

Season One[]
In Pilot, Leah is first seen in underwater with countless others who appear to be dead. A woman, Reece, swims to her and blows air into her mouth. Reece takes hold of her and swims toward the surface. She them pushes Leah upwards where Leah swims, leaving Reece behind. Leah looks back only to see Reece disappear in the water. Leah is found unconscious by Jude Ellis and his deputy Nestor at Thorn Beach outside Port Canaan, Oregon when they arrive to investigate a dead body that washed ashore. Later, after tending to other survivors found in the water, Jude finds Leah in a tent, still wearing his sweatshirt that he put on her. She tells him that the only person she knows is her mom, whom she last saw in the water and that she and the other refugees are from America and were running away from a war that hasn't happened yet, which is confirmed by Caleb, a man sitting next to them. Later, she is interviewed by Emma Ren and said that her mother kissed her before she lost her in the water. Afterwards, Leah stands on the beach looking out toward the water and remembering her last moments with her mother before she woke up on the beach. She sits down and continues to watch the ocean when Rebecca comes up and talks to her. She gives Leah a stuffed rabbit, an animal Leah has never heard of. She tells Rebecca that she wants her mother and Rebecca tells her that everything will be okay. Later, Leah is travelling on a bus with other refugees when she uncovers a rash on her left arm, which brings worry to her face. She later awakens to find that she and the other refugees have been brought to a camp to stay. When being given her housing assignment, Rebecca says that she can stay with her and Caleb.
